APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE (Pt. 3)
This third segment of the "Apostolic Doctrine" series sets in focus, the significance and power of the Name of Jesus. Both prevalent and prominent throughout the apostles' ministry is their continuous, convicted utterance of Jesus' Name. In preaching, in performing miracles, in casting out devils, and in the baptism of new believers, they made abundantly clear that the authority and power of their ministry rested solely in His Name.
In addition, illuminating the "apostolic answer" given in The Acts 2:38, the lesson provides clarity to the important distinction between demonstrated obedience to the Gospel and the notion of salvation by works.
